The newly orphaned Orina Vandeholt had wealth, beauty and aristocratic blood. Prey to every fortune hunter on both sides of the Atlantic, Orina was forced to flee New York when a suitor's excesses threatened scandal. Yet in Mexico, a terrifying adventure awaited.
