This publication accompanied by a performance exhibition comprises reflections carried out during the John Cage International Colloquium, presented on September 13 and 14, 2012 in the Foundation Auditorium PROA on the occasion of the centenary of the birth of the North American composer. "Up till now unpublished, the texts that make up this publication contain reflections by Luis Chitarroni, Pablo Gianera, Branden W. Joseph, Henning Lohner and James Pritchett, about different dimensions of John Cage's work: the silent pieces, the HPSCHD multimedia performance, the process of making One11 and 103 or the possibility of a rehabilitation of the "natural beauty" are some of the subjects examined by these authors."
