The past was all one long, gray blank Libby didn't hesitate when Keir Salinger wrote to her, begging her to forget their broken engagement and join him in Malta. But she wasn't prepared for the situation awaiting her. Keir had completely lost his memory and recalled nothing of their life together. How could he remain unaware of everything that had happened? The books he'd written, the women he'd known? And Pia, the Italian countess, in particular. Could he really have forgotten her?
