Always a bridesmaid... As a teenager, Carole Anne Wellsley had felt suffocated by her sleepy hometown--and by the boy next door. She cared about Jeff ... maybe too much. But she couldn't stay in Belle's Grove, Missouri, and become a country doctor's wife--not when the whole world was out there waiting for her.... Now, after eight years, Carole Anne was back for her aunt's wedding. And the moment Dr. Jefferson Drumm saw her, his youthful passion returned full force. This time, Jeff wouldn't let her slip away. Yes, wedding bells were about to chime in Belle's Grove--and if things went according to plan, Aunt Connie wouldn't be the only bride in town.
