Wasn't marriage the right choice? Kathryn had decided. At thirty-six, the well-bred Bostonian would become Mrs. Northrop Davis Ill. She wanted marriage and children. But Kathryn hadn't counted on seeing Nick Marganin again! They had shared brief holiday romance, before her engagement, but she had convinced herself that the handsome businessman was not a man with marriage in mind.
