This is the story of Jacky Faber, an orphan from the slums of London. Jacky's only desire after life's tragedies is to become a ship boy. Only one problem... Jacky is a girl. So she disguises herself as a boy and connives her way onto a British warship set for high sea adventure in search of pirates. But this is just the begining of an extremely addicting series and the highly adventerous life of a one Jacky Faber.
