The urban transformation of Bogotá is the subject of the book, through an historic account of the regulations in the construction of neighborhoods and the residential complexes in the capital city over the last 100 years. Successive urban regulations with representative examples of working-class neighborhoods, suburbs of middle and upper class and modern and contemporary complexes help identify how the urban layout was planned and how its architecture was conceived.
