The project CASA proposes a sustainable solution to urban growth in the metropolitan area of the Valley of Mexico (ZMVM). The project consists of a group of students advised by researchers from various institutes. The prototype CASA UNAM won the prize for Engineering and Construction in the 2014 Solar Decathlon Europe, which took place in the grounds of the Versailles Palace in France from June to July of 2014.
