To compete against twenty other women for a marriage proposal from that devilishly handsome bachelor, the Earl of Fairbright? The very idea was insane! But Andrea Gratham is coerced into entering the silly contest - and, after all, it would be a perfect opportunity for her two younger sisters to find husbands. So she enters the "hunt" reluctantly - with no intention of solving the puzzle of the family heirloom that is the key to winning the contest. But Andy quickly finds herself stumbling upon clues - and easily outwitting the other competitors. She's determined, however, to outwit the Earl of Fairbright - who's equally determined that the lovely Andy shall win him! Despite all her efforts to be disqualified, Andy finds herself closer and closer to finding the mysterious heirloom...and finding that she may, after all, win the contest - and the earl may win her heart!
