A FAIR LADY — Years ago, Rupert Frost's indiscretion with a lady of dubious virtue made Charlotte Middleton break off their betrothal -- and marry, in fury, an oafish suitor. Now widowed, she is not amused when the still-irresistible Rupert re-enters her life and, bold as brass, asks Charlotte's advice on finding a wife! In fact, having followed the events of her life, he returns to England to woo her anew. But Charlotte, it seems, cares to be nothing more than his friend. His only hope of recapturing her fancy could be to arouse in her a certain little green-eyed monster...
