"Significant publication issued in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Alfonso Caso, who first posited the now widely accepted belief that the Colombino and Becker I Codices were actually fragments of the same codex centered on the life of the Mixtec ruler 8-Deer. Includes a beautiful facsimile reuniting the fragments in the sequence suggested by Caso, under the new commemorative name Códice Alfonso Caso"--Handbook of Latin American Studies, v. 58.
