MR. AUGUST Convenient Husband: Jasper "Main" Chance--over six feet of lean, muscled trouble--who had a few things a certain beautiful, broke farm girl desperately needed ... Disgruntled Wife: Stacy Hunsberger--a woman with a ranch to run, bills to pay, absolutely no money and a dry-eyed deal to marry a man who didn't love her... Passionless Marriage? Not if these two shared a bedroom! Jasper "Main" Chance wasn't the type to settle down--heck, one place and one woman had always bored the Texan to tears. But when he suddenly inherited half of Stacy Hunsberger's financially needy farm, Main instantly became the marrying kind. Oh, he had his reasons, and the fact that Stacy was a smart-mouthed, stubborn redhead who needed a chance didn't hurt any....
