Cait Blasingame needed a cowboy. Charlie Seeks Elk hardly fit the bill. But Charlie was on a quest — and if being Cait’s cowboy was what it took to get her to fall in love with him again, well, a desperate man could do almost anything! Cait had no reason to trust Charlie. She didn’t understand that dying could make a man take another look at what really mattered in his life.
