The massive gold menorah, symbol of the Jewish faith is torn from Jerusalem's Holy Temple by the Romans and moved to Constantinople. The Crusaders took it with them when they plundered the city in 1204. Jack Howard, a modern day archaeologist begins an exploratory dive in Istanbul's harbour hoping to find lost treasures from the Crusades In a cathedral library in England, someone unearths a long-forgotten medieval map. This makes for a thrilling adventure to see who finds the menorah first.
