Beautiful Dara Tulley believes she's found her first love at age 15 in a misty field with a rich, married farmer. But after a night of wild passion, he spurns her, calling her the "Daughter of Satan." Learning to use her body to give men pleasure, she saves enough for a passage to America. There she meets a man who brings her to the heights of sexual ecstasy, but he too is married, and Dara must face an unknown world alone again. From simple country girl to experienced lady, from the Isle of Man to America to London, Dara's sexual adventures lead her into dozens of beds, marriage, prostitution--and a career in acting. She explores every kind of love and lover, including a minister, an aristocrat with unusual notions about sex, a thief and the Prince of Wales himself. Dara takes you on an unforgettable sexual odyssey that will forever alter your notions of restrictive Victorian lives.
