Was it a matter of dog in the manger? Alexandra resented Dominic Tempest's interference. Even if he was her sister's brother-in-law, he had a nerve saying she was too young to marry Roger! Especially when Dominic himself clearly noticed that the kid he'd known for years was becoming Alexandra, the woman. Alexandra soon decided that her feelings for Dominic were stronger than any she had for Roger.
