First comprehensive survey in Mexico and Latin America of Franz Erhard Walther (Fulda, Germany, 1939), the catalogue compiles the exhibited oeuvre, spanning a career of six decades. It presents a significant selection from his major bodies of work, exploring dominant themes in Waltherœs practice; from the idea of action as a central working concept to the relationality between object, spectator and space that is the hallmark of his production along with texts that are key to interpreting Waltherœs objects and to assessing the cultural impact of an artist who, in the 1960's and 1970's, assiduously avoided joining any group or art movement.
