After seeing the unhappiness caused to her sister by marriage to an irresponsible charmer, Christina felt decidedly prejudiced against good-looking men. So when Sean Savage, the devastatingly attractive head of the firm where she worked, chose her as his temporary secretary, she was firmly on her guard against him from the start. But she need not have worried, for it seemed she could do nothing right in his eyes. He even chose to challenge her right to take an evening job with a reputable escort service, something she had only done anyway to help her sister. What business of his was it in any case? Yet, in spite of all her efforts, Christina had to admit that, after all, she did care what he thought about her.
