Katlin Brown wants answers. And she'll do whatever it takes to get them. Including lie her way onto the Parker Ranch... When is a reporter a reporter? When she's Katlin Brown pretending to be one so she can get close to Quint McCabe - the cowboy who works on the most remote section of the Parkers' sprawling West Texas ranch. Quint wasn't always a cowboy. Not so long ago he was in the Army, commanding an elite group of soldiers on a classified mission. But the mission ended in disaster, and he left the Army soon after. Quint's the strong, silent type, but Katlin's determined to make him talk - because he's the only one who can tell her what happened to her brother during that mission...
