Red was her color. Hearts was his suit. Their wedding was in the cards! Flamboyant Laurel Hall was a failure as an actress. But when she returned to Dallas, she found herself with the toughest role of her life - playing high-stakes poker against the man who'd ruined her father. It was all part of her family's scheme for revenge... But even an award-winning performance wouldn't bring victory. Laurel needed lots of coaching, and that was where poker expert Jack Hartman came in. However, Laurel quickly realized that she wanted more from Jack than poker tips. And she couldn't help wondering whether being 'lucky in cards,' really did mean she'd be 'unlucky in love.'
