"El 'Colorado' José María González was an idol of Racing in the years of passage from amateurism to professionalism: an impassive defender, with red hair, difficult to forget. Now, his life and also the football of those years are told in a great way in Llamarada, the comic strip that Hotel de las Ideas will publish in a month, and whose author, Jorge González, is the grandson of the crack. ... Flare is not a novel exclusively about football: it also portrays the Avellaneda of those years, the tanneries, the Riachuelo, the edge, the childhood of shorts. But his football images are perhaps the most beautiful that the Argentine comic strip has given."--Lautaro Ortiz, Página 12 WWW page viewed 1 March, 2022
