The books is the outcome of two decades of research work around a scarcely studied and promoted topic by designer and linguist Cristina Gutiérrez. Artisanal textile production in Peru is an industrial and cultural millenary tradition, the book documents not only the ethnic artisans from all regions of Peru, but also involves buyers, people specializing in fashion and the general public.
