Unlike most of the conventional stories about the Republic, the structure of this book consists of seven autonomous stories that form a text that is integrated thanks to the sequence of the essays, the theme, the illustration and the chronology. The compendium offers, thus, an overview that includes varied views concerning historical situations related to the influence of the Spanish Enlightenment, tied by the historical processes in America. The book is based on documentary sources is iconographic archives of Spain, Argentina and Peru.
