Catalogue of the exhibition comprising 46 painted portraits of crowned nuns, dated between the end of the 18th century and early 19th century, considered today to be the most important collection of this genre in Latin America. The works were originally in four colonial cloistered convents: In the convent of Santa Fe of the Conceptionists contemplative nuns, from the convents of the Clarisse and Dominican nuns, and in Popayán, from the Order of the Discalced Carmelites. The exhibition also includes eight large format canvases as well as "sacred treasures" from the collection of the Biblioteca Luis Angel Arango.
