"Poetry and prose poems by Spanish-born poet (1927) who spent much of his youth in Mexico's Spanish exile community. Collection comprises three books previously published individually, of which The nomad's notebook is particularly moving. Informative, thoughtful introduction by translator, whose versions would be stronger if she had tried to be less literally 'faithful.'"--Handbook of Latin American Studies, v. 58.
