THE PLAYBOY - Cliff Howard drove an expensive car and was on a first-name basis with every maitre d' in town. A confirmed bachelor, he wasn't prepared to trade in the fast lane for car pools. THE WIDOW - Diana Collins plowed through life in a ten-year-old station wagon, hiding behind motherhood, determined to play it safe by living in the shadows. She'd suffered the ultimate loss in love, and now she buried her own needs away in an emotional attic where they couldn't get damaged again. They had both become adept at playing their roles. Until the playboy met the widow.
