When Veronique Parker's husband Paul dies suddenly, she and her three daughters are each left a special bequest. They are also gifted a crumbling château in the south of France - and the revelation that they will share this with a secret daughter Paul fathered years ago. These bequests see Veronique embark on investigating a painting that Paul left her, which will lead to changes she could never have imagined for herself. As Veronique works through the emotional fall-out of Paul's betrayal, she picks up her own artistic ambitions again - and even finds romance blossoming with young photographer Aidan. Could one family secret and a heart-breaking betrayal actually help Veronique find the greatest happiness she's ever known?
