IN HIS EYES, SHE WAS JUST A GOLD DIGGER — Alandra's mother's dying wish was that Alandra visit the home of her only remaining relatives, the wealthy Todds, who disowned her father many years ago. Alandra arrived at stately, elegant Roseacres prepared to dislike these heartless strangers, particularly her dour grandfather. But she slowly discovered that beneath his gruff exterior was a kind old gentleman who was shattered at the loss of his son. It was Matt Carstairs, now the head of the firm of Carstairs and Todd, whom she loathed, and the feeling was very mutual.
