"A new evil is terrorizing the land of Girdlegard. Monstrous creatures--half-orc, half-elf--are on the rampage, leaving a trail of destruction in their wake. They are out to steal an artifact that is vital for the kingdom's defense, and whoever holds it could control the world. Then, in a further blow, the frozen body of the mage Lot-Ionan, protector of Girdlegard, is taken--and Tungdil spies total disaster on the horizon. With the existence of the dwarves under threat, he must resort to his trusty double ax and risk everything he knows to save his country from annihilation."--P. [4] of cover.
