"Rocanrol" is a collection of stories by Marcial Gala that revolve around characters immersed in the maelstrom of Cuba in the second half of the twentieth century, exploring the death of a soldier in training, letters from Che that save a young woman from returning to prison, a farewell address by Fidel Castro communicating the end of the Argentine guerrilla in Bolivia, and the narratives of everyday people pushed by the winds of change.--Latin American Book Store website
