The Stairway to Enchantment Ginny Campbell enjoyed her work as nurse-companion to Mrs. Blakeney. The fact that her patient's son Eric wanted her to marry him was an unnecessary complication. Yet if she were faced with the choice of leaving Castleton or accepting Eric, then Ginny would probably marry him. Or so she thought until Wolfe Meisen caused her to have doubts… Gallant’s Fancy Miranda was delighted when her boss asked her to accompany him on a business cruise to the Caribbean, even though she knew the whole purpose of the trip was a large take-over bid and that there would be as much work as play. But when it came to sweet-talking one Roger Gallant, she realized she had taken on more than she could manage. Roger was clearly in the habit of taking what he wanted and then throwing it away -- and it did look as if Miranda was going to be his latest victim. Matai Valley Magic Fern Fraser had been hitchhiking when she was hurt in a crash, which led to the driver, Hamish Alexander, inviting her to stay at Matai Valley. Mr. Alexander was nice, which was more than she could say for his nephew Brett, who described her as a "footloose and fancy free type, going around the country bludging rides instead of paying her way." But . . .
