She didn't expect a happy ending ... Tallitha Jones practically trembled when she heard she was being sent to replace Miles Gilmour's secretary. The Brisbane businessman's unpredictable temper was well-known. But after her initial crash entry into his office, Tallitha found Miles to be surprisingly kind. He helped his red-haired "Tally-ho" to face and forget her traumatic past. Though she knew that his heart was spoken for, Tallitha was willing to risk loving Miles anyway, with no strings attached. What else could she hope for--that he'd want to marry the girl from the outback? Mills & Boon A touching story of love When Tallitha was offered the chance of working for Miles Gilmour after only a few months in Brisbane, she was more than a little daunted by his reputation for being fearsomely bad-tempered, and was convinced it would be a mistake. And when they literally came to blows on her first morning, she was sure that she had lost her chance. But then she was to discover another side to her new boss; a man who cared enough to try and understand her past, a man who had, in spite of his apparent invulnerability, lost his heart to an unattainable woman. And she began to wonder if her glib promise to remain unmoved by her boss might be harder to keep than she had imagined....
