A MOST UNSUITABLE PASTIME — The impertinent Miss Sophia Bancroft is thrilled to be engaged to the incomparable Viscount Lucian Northrop, but at a time when most respectable young ladies would be preoccupied with setting a wedding date and choosing a bridal trousseau, Sophy still has a most un-viscountess-like penchant for solving mysteries. When danger threatens her betrothed, the indomitable investigatrix soon finds herself up to her reticule in intrigue--and she'll take any risk to protect the man she loves. A DANGEROUS ENDEAVOR -- As aide to the British Foreign Secretary in perilous times, Lucian Payne has been assigned "a matter of extreme delicacy"-- monitoring the movements of Napoleonic spies as they attempt to infiltrate the highest levels of London society. Soon plunged into a tangle of treason, betrayal and murder, the courageous Lord Northrop finds himself in grave danger. Foreign agents are closing in and he can trust no one ... except the inimitable lady who wears his ring.
