Lord Granville can't understand how any governess could turn down a position at fifty pounds a year. But Miss Lucy Winthrop has done just that--as well as shaken his lordship's renowned, unflappably suave demeanor to its core. Now, Lord Granville--one of the most powerful men in England--can't seem to banish thoughts of this beguiling young lady from his mind. But a sudden reversal of fortune forces Miss Lucy to reconsider Lord Granville's offer. Although she has reservations about her new employer, Lucy is struck by his devilishly handsome appearance--and is soon fighting off her unreasonable attraction to him. After she performs a tremendous service for his lordship, Lucy is granted three wishes in gratitude. Now, the pretty little governess is going to keep his lordship wondering just what it is that she has in store for him...
