Only one summer for Dr. Spencer Coburn to sort out his rebellious and pregnant daughter, Stacy. To ensure that his daughter still has a future and to rekindle the joy he used to find in his own life and work. Only one summer for Gina Banning to fulfil her promise to her eighty-three-year-old father that she'll take care of him herself. No hospitals, no nursing homes. To prepare to face a future that doesn't include a family of her own. Only one summer for Spencer and his daughter to meet Gina and her father. To share a house, to share their lives.
