Vanessa is en route to a Denver convent when she leaves the wagon train to bathe in the river. There she discovers a wounded Kiowa brave -- the powerful warrior she will heal, fear and love more than life itself. Across the plains and prairies where Kiowa, Comanche and the U.S. Cavalry battle for land, Vanessa and Lone Wolf will risk everything for their future together.
