The book explores how maps as means of control defined the definition andorganization of spaces in the construction of Colombia during colonial and republican governments. Through the study of a collection of period photographic reproductions of textsand maps from the first maps of the New World created in the 16th century in Europe to themaps created in Colombia during the 19th century.
