Catalogue of the art production of talian born artist Linda Kohen (b. 1924). At age 15, without documentation, Linda Olivetti - her paternal surname - began to make her way in the art world in Montevideo. She joined the Taller Torres García shortly before the master artist died and was a disciple of Eduardo Vernazza, Horacio Butler, Julio Alpuy and José Gurvich, amongst others. In 1946, she married Rafael Kohen and they live in Argentina and Brazil, before returning to Uruguay. This book by Sonia Bandrymer, professor of history, researcher and consultant in art history and museology, as well as curator, comprises a selection of the artistic production of Kohen, aspects of her life, and a section of analysis on her artwork by a large number of critics and specialists in art.
