Andrew Pennington’s life changes almost over night when his uncle and cousin die, leaving him as the next Marquis of Whitbury. Now, to his surprise and chagrin, he is the most sought-after bachelor in London. Justine Rawlings comes from a noble family. Her younger sister, Charlotte, wants to hurry and marry her sweetheart. But Justine’s father insists she must follow custom and get married first. To prevent her sister from eloping, Justine decides to find a fake fiancé fast! It seems like the perfect plan, and what could be better for these two family friends than to fake an engagement to solve their mutual dilemmas? But their problems are far from over. Someone is threatening Justine even as she finds herself falling in love with her fiancé. As attempts on Justine’s life escalate, Andrew becomes increasingly alarmed. Andrew and Justine must face their true feelings for each other before it’s too late!
