MARRIED TO A MAN SHE'D NEVER EVEN SEEN-- TOO AWFUL BY HALF! As her dying father had wished, American heiress Caroline Leland had been wed by proxy to Lord Wilton of London. Cara decided to play another part before taking up her role as wife. Disguised as a governess to her husband's two wards, she could observe the man--surely a beast! --and prepare for the worst with him none the wiser. But that was not to be, as Cara took Wilton's bachelor establishment by storm. Wilton himself could hardly ignore the minx and her bewitching green eyes. If only he hadn't gotten himself leg-shackled to that damnable American, wherever she was...!
