The book is a selected bibliography of documents on the history of photography published in Uruguay between 1915 and 1930. Authors include: Mauricio Bruno (coordination and introduction) / Magdalena Broquetas, Mauricio Bruno, Lucía Mariño, Alexandra Nóvoa, Clara von Sanden, Isabel Wschebor (selection, editing and transcription). "The selected documents were found during an investigation carried out in 19 public and private archives of Uruguay between 2013 and 2017 by the Interdisciplibry Nucleus of Research on the Preservation of Photographic Heritage, composed of the Centro de Fotografía (CdF) of Montevideo and the Department of History of Uruguay of the Universidad de la Republica, in which researchers from both institutions and the General Archive of the University participated."
