Amengual takes her characters, women and men whose lives are marked by the monotony of a forgotten love, and places them in front of a mirror. Then, with the deepest compassion, she helps them face the unavoidable conclusion of certain bonds, sustained only through routine and convenience, to present the possibility of a new beginning. This is a story of the choices made to fill the void and the need to hope.
